San Diegans gather for vigil to honor Las Vegas shooting victims

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - An interfaith candlelight vigil for the Las Vegas shooting victims and a call for gun reform will be held Wednesday in North Park.

Missiongathering San Diego on Polk Ave. is bringing together community leaders for prayers from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

Invited speakers include Missiongathering Pastor Brandan Robertson, The Very Reverend Penny Bridges of St. Paul's Cathedral, the Rabbi Yael Ridberg of Congregation Dor Hadash, Iman Taha Hassane of the Islamic Center of San Diego, Pastor Rebecca Littlejohn of Vista La Mesa Christian Church, representatives from the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and a performance by the Peace and Freedom Singers.

A similar gathering was held Monday night.
