A woman found at the bottom of Sunset Cliffs Sunday afternoon was transported to a hospital, according to the San Diego Fire Department. The woman was taken from the beach via helicopter.
Lifeguards and SD fire personnel, who were first on scene, gained access to the woman from the ocean and from above, climbing down the cliffs. CPR was administered.
Authorities have not yet determined if the woman fell from the top of the cliffs or if she was attempting to climb up them. The incident happened in the 800 block of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard.
