ALLIED GARDENS, Calif. (KGTV) - Recent rainfall caused mud to flow into an Allied Gardens backyard, ruining the homeowner's property and home.
The pool was mostly mud. The surrounding property was covered in ankle deep mud. And it flowed into her home, ruining carpeting and walls.
The San Diego Unified School District owns the hill behind the homeowner's property.
The district place tarp on some of the hillside, but not all of it.
The homeowner also works for the school district as a teacher.
10News' Joe Little spoke with the teacher about the school district's response and the home damages she's facing.
