OCEAN BEACH, Calif.—Hundreds of San Diegans showed up to protest President Donald Trump on the sands of Ocean Beach Saturday and the calls for action were caught by drone.
More than 600 participants organized by Indivisible San Diego, a local branch of a "nationwide citizens' resistance movement," lined up at Dog Beach to spell out the exclamation "resist!" They then marched to the Ocean Beach pier where they spelled out "impeach!"
"This community action stands in stark contrast to the often harsh confrontations seen nationwide today between demonstrators at March 4 rallies and counter-protesters," Pam Hughes of Indivisible San Diego said in a statement to 10News.
At least 150 peoplemarched and rallied in support of Trump at the Embarcadero Marina Park South yesterday. Others also gathered at Trump Tower and the Washington Monument.
