A high-speed chase ended with a driver in a stolen truck crashing into a palm tree, according to San Diego Sheriff's deputies.
Deputies said they were following a stolen truck and then they tried to pull the driver over, the driver sped off.
The driver led deputies and San Diego police officers on a chase that ended at an apartment complex on 26th and F Streets in Golden Hill.
Deputies said the driver went through the apartment complex parking lot, clipped a resident's car, went through a chain link fence before crashing into a palm tree.
The driver ran onto westbound Highway 94 before a deputy stun gunned him and he was taken into custody.
