OTAY MESA, Calif. (KGTV) - The progress on the border wall prototype construction has the attention of President Donald Trump.
He tweeted Tuesday about the work underway in Otay Mesa.

President Donald Trump pledged to build a border wall and make Mexico pay for it during his campaign.
Estimates for a full wall along the Southern border have ranged from $12 billion to more than $20 billion, CNN reported.

Eight border wall prototypes are being constructed: four made of concrete, four of other materials. The project should be finished by the end of October, according to Customs and Border Protection.
