A robbery at a jewelry store inside a Riverside mall had customers scrambling for safety Sunday evening, ABC7 Los Angeles reported.
Police responded to multiple reports of an incident inside a jewelry store at the Galleria at Tyler shopping mall on Tyler Street around 6:30 p.m., witnesses told ABC7.
Several people posted on social media that they heard around two gunshots before people started running around the mall.
Riverside Police confirmed three men armed with sledgehammers and wearing black ski masks robbed the jewelry store.
Dozens of police cars were seen outside the mall investigating the robbery.
