Pepper spray deployed during parent brawl at Encanto soccer game

SAN DIEGO – A large fight broke out in the bleachers of a children’s soccer game between parents Wednesday night in Encanto. 
 
According to San Diego police, the fight began at around 8 p.m. at the Encanto Recreation Center at 6508 Wunderlin Dr. 
 
Police said the brawl appeared to start between parents of opposing teams before it spilled onto the field. About 15 people were involved, police said. At one point, some of the participants deployed pepper spray, hitting both children and parents. 
 
Three people were taken to be treated for minor injuries. There were no reported arrests. 
 
What initially started the fight was not confirmed.
