A 24-year-old man who displayed two knives before telling a San Diego bartender to give him a beer was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of robbery.
The suspect, identified as Brian Villa, entered the Chee Chee Club at 929 Broadway in the Core-Columbia neighborhood around 4:15 p.m., according to San Diego police Officer Robert Heims.
Once Villa got the beer and left the bar, the bartender called police, Heims said.
Once they arrived, she pointed Villa out and he was arrested and the beer recovered, Heims said.
