CHULA VISTA, Calif. – More than 2,300 San Diego Gas & Electric customers lost power for more than one hour in a Chula Vista neighborhood Thanksgiving morning.
According to SDG&E’s website, 2,342 customers were without power in the neighborhoods of South Chula Vista, Eastlake, Rancho Del Rey, Otay Reservoir, Castle Park and Otay beginning at 9:14 a.m.
The outage was due to multiple factors that caused a problem in the electrical system, SDG&E said.
Power was restored sometime before 10:20 a.m.
