SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - People in a City Heights neighborhood say drivers are going too fast down a particular street and they're afraid someone is going to get hurt without the city's help.
Yesencia Zepeda tells 10News cars come around the curve at 47th Street and Dwight St. way too quickly.
Early Friday morning, a car crashed on that same curve and went right through the fence of a nearby home.
Zepeda says she filed a formal complaint and asked for speed bumps and signs to be put in. Crews responded by painting double yellow lines where there had been none.
The City of San Diego told 10News it conducted a study of the area and found people were not exceeding the speed limit by a significant amount.
Zepeda disagrees and says people drive faster than the posted speed limit.
