WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Fresh off his politically charged performance at the Desert Trip music festival in California, Roger Waters says he'll launch a 51-city North American tour next year.
The Pink Floyd co-founder says he's planning a new multimedia show and will unveil new music on the "Us + Them" tour beginning May 26, 2017, in Kansas City, Missouri. He's also wrapping up a new album that he says includes "the first love songs I've ever written."
The 73-year-old singer-songwriter dazzled audiences with his Desert Trip performance on Oct. 9 that featured custom animation on a 240-foot-long digital screen and a quadrophonic audio system built just for the event. He's set to repeat the performance on Sunday.
Tickets for "Us + Them" go on sale Oct. 21.
