A DUI suspect accused of killing a man in a hit-and-run apparently drove for a mile after hitting the victim, speeding away with the man still lodged inside her car.
Esteysi Sanchez Izazaga, 29 – who goes by Stacy Sanchez -- hit the pedestrian after driving up onto a sidewalk, NBC San Diego reports.

Due to the high speed, the unidentified victim plunged through her windshield and became lodged in her passenger seat.
Meanwhile, Sanchez continued driving for about a mile before finally parking her car in a cul-de-sac. She walked away from the vehicle and police caught up with her a short while later.
Sanchez was arrested and charged with felony DUI, felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter.
