(KGTV) – Customers will now be able to purchase some cannabis-based products at CVS stores, including pharmacies in California.

The pharmacy chain announced this week that it is selling CBD products, which include topicals like creams, sprays and lotions.

Besides California, the cannabis-based products are being sold at CVS pharmacies in Alabama, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland and Tennessee.

The company said it would not be selling supplements or food additives containing CBD; the only products being sold are those that are legal, CVS officials said.
