ESCONDIDO, Calif. (KGTV) - One person was rushed to the hospital after being shot in Escondido Tuesday night.
Police responded to calls of a shooting around 8:53 p.m. near Hubbard and Ash streets, not far from Escondido's North End.
Police told 10News the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Palomar Medical Center in critical condition.
Officers are searching for a red car that was spotted leaving the area shortly after the shooting.
