SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A motorcycle crash off state Route 94 sparked a brush fire in an embankment in Golden Hill Monday.
The crash involving at least one motorcycle was first reported just after 9:15 a.m. on the westbound side of SR-94 near 28th Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck caused a fire to erupt in nearby brush, sending plumes of black smoke into the air.
Authorities shut down the 25th Street ramp to SR-94 due to the fire response.
