SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Emotions were raw as the USS Lake Erie left San Diego on Monday afternoon for deployment.
The ship is heading to the Western Pacific and the Middle East. It was not specified how long the ship would be away from home.
Families know the loved ones are leaving at tumultuous time, so they could not keep the tears from falling.
