Police said a medical condition caused the driver of a red pickup truck to go down an embankment and crash into two parked cars, one with two people inside, early Friday morning.
The crash happened around 5:30 Friday morning in the 7-Eleven parking lot on Highland Avenue just south of Division in National City.
Officers who arrived on scene performed CPR on the driver, and then the driver was taken to a nearby hospital.
The two people inside of one of the cars hit were not injured.
