SAN DIEGO -- A masked man held up a hotel in the Mission Hills neighborhood early today, police said.
The robber claimed he was armed and demanded cash from an employee at the Holiday Inn Express on San Diego Avenue near Noell Street shortly before 2:30 a.m., San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros said. He ran off with an undisclosed amount of money and headed south on San Diego Avenue.
Police described the suspect as a 5-foot-7 white man in his 40s wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and a thin white mask covering his face.
