OCEAN BEACH -- A man's body was discovered at Sunset Cliffs late Friday night.
A man was walking along the cliffs at Sunset Cliffs Boulevard and Ladera Street around 10:45 p.m. Friday when he noticed a figure down below.
"I yelled and no one answered," said Christopher Perez. "It looked like a figure so I went down there to check things out and he wasn't moving."
Lifeguards tried life-saving measures but were unable to revive the person. Police are investigating the death.
There are signs at the cliffs warning people to stay back. Almost a year ago an Indiana man who was visiting San Diego died there when he was distracted by his cell phone and fell.
