SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A man was pistol-whipped during a carjacking in the Barrio Logan area, San Diego police said.
According to police, the incident happened just before 9:20 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Main Street.
Police said a man was getting out of his Toyota Corolla when two Hispanic males and a Hispanic female armed with guns approached him and pushed him back into the car.
At one point during the ordeal, a suspect struck the man in the head with a gun.
The trio "demanded the victim's property then pushed him out of the vehicle," and then drove away, police said.
The car is blue and a 1996 model, but the victim did not know the car's license plate number "because it had been bought and sold several times, but not registered," according to police.
