EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) - The San Diego Sheriff's Department is warning East County residents about a man who harassed a 13-year-old girl as she was walking her dog Friday.
The incident happened just before 1 p.m. on Hart Dr. near Ballantyne St. in unincorporated El Cajon.
The girl was walking on the sidewalk when a man drove past her in a newer, black four-door sedan, according to Sheriff's Sgt. Josh Stone. The girl walked into a driveway and the car did a U-turn and followed her.
The man asked the girl how old she was and where she lived, but left after another car turned into the driveway behind him, said Stone.
According to the girl, the man was Hispanic, 25 years old, thin, unshaven, with short black hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call the San Diego Sheriff's Department.
