SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police Officers arrested a man Wednesday night at a home on the corner of Santa Barbara Street and Tarento Drive, after a disturbance call in Ocean Beach.
According to Lt. Benjamin Kelson, when police arrived at the home around 6 p.m., the man threatened them with a knife. The officers then called for backup.
A helicopter was deployed to the area as police made a perimeter around the home. Neighbors say at one point, the man even dropped his underwear at officers.
The man was apprehended in the backyard of the home after police shot him several times with beanbags. He has not been identified, but neighbors say he may live in the home with his parents.
