SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A driver was detained by police early Monday morning after being accused of repeatedly crashing his car into several vehicles parked on a Talmadge street.

At around 2:15 a.m., a man and woman said they were looking for a parking spot in the 4100 block of Collwood Lane when a driver rear-ended them.

Several residents responded to the crash and saw the same driver strike other parked vehicles, including one car with a woman still inside.

The driver accused of ramming the other vehicles was eventually pulled out of his car by witnesses. He was held until San Diego police officers arrived.

Responding officers were evaluating the driver for a possible DUI.
