CBP arrests man with drugs stuffed down his underwear

TUCSON, Ariz. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a man with drugs stuffed inside of his underwear Wednesday near San Luis.

According to the agency, officers stopped a 23-year-old U.S. man who was trying to drive a Toyota sedan into the U.S. Officers found more than a half-pound of meth, a quarter pound of fentanyl and a quarter pound of heroin hidden in his clothes.

In a separate incident, officers arrested a 23-year-old U.S. woman who tried to drive her Nissan sedan into the U.S. Thursday. After a canine alerted officers to the scent of drugs, officers found 120 packages of meth hidden inside the vehicle, including the bumper.

Officers seized the drugs and vehicles, then turned over the suspects to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
