SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A car crashed into some vehicles parked on an Encanto street, leaving behind a trail of destruction that shocked residents.
At around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, San Diego police said they received reports of multiple damaged vehicles in the 6500 block of Akins Avenue.
Witnesses said a white Dodge Charger traveling at around 90 mph slammed into the back of several vehicles. One van was hit so hard that it flipped over.
Following the vehicular carnage, some witnesses said they saw an injured and bleeding man sitting on a nearby curb.
The man was treated by paramedics and questioned by police, but he was not arrested after claimed he was not the driver.
Several witnesses told police they saw a second car speed away from the scene as it dragged debris underneath it.
Police are investigating the incident as a possible hit-and-run.
