CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - Authorities are looking into what caused a crash on a South Bay freeway that forced a vehicle off the road and down an embankment.
Shortly before 11:45 a.m. Monday, the California Highway Patrol received reports of two vehicles driving fast on eastbound state Route 54 prior to one of them crashing.
The CHP said a Chevrolet Camaro tumbled down an embankment and ended up on its roof in an area behind the Best Buy store near National City Boulevard.
The Camaro’s male driver was conscious after the crash and sustained only minor injuries, officers sayd.
