SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A candlelight vigil is being held in San Diego Friday night for slain rapper Nipsey Hussle.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at Jeremy Henwood Memorial Park (4455 Wightman Street, San Diego 92103).

The 33-year-old musician was shot to death outside of his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31. Two other men were injured in the incident.

The suspected shooter, identified as 29-year-old Eric Holder, was arrested and charged with Hussle’s death. Holder pleaded not guilty on Thursday.

Los Angeles police said they believe the shooting may have been an isolated dispute between Hussle and Holder, who is an aspiring rapper. Police do not think Hussle’s death was gang-related.

Meanwhile, community activists are calling for the arrest of a woman who allegedly drove Holder away from the area following the shooting. The woman has not been identified.
