RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) - The owners of a Ramona camel farm are concerned about a new California senate bill which could ban the animals from taking part in parades and shows.

Known as the “circus cruelty” bill, it would stop Gil and Nancy Riegler from the Oasis Camel Dairy from transporting camels to events like parades, fairs, or Christmas nativity shows.

Supporters of the bill say it will prevent animal abuse.
