SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A water main burst in the Little Italy neighborhood Sunday morning, closing several streets, shutting down nearby businesses and forcing officials to stop trolley service to the area.
The main break was reported just after 7 a.m. on Kettner Boulevard, near West Juniper Street.
The broken main sent water onto the street and caused asphalt to buckle.
The MTS' Green Line service was stopped because tracks were under water, and some businesses had to close for several hours due to lack of water service.
