LinkedIn report: San Diego in top 10 cities with largest skills gaps

(KGTV)—According to a new LinkedIn report, San Diego made the list of top 10 cities with a skills gap.  

The LinkedIn Workforce Report for March 2017 lists San Diego number 10 on a list of cities with largest overall skills gaps, defined as "a mismatch between the skills employers need and the skills workers have." 

Rounding out the report were: 

  1. San Francisco Bay Area, Calif. 
  2. Washington, D.C. 
  3. Houston, Texas
  4. Austin, Texas
  5. Los Angeles, Calif. 
  6. Seattle, Wash. 
  7. New York City, NY
  8. Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. 
  9. Boston, Mass. 
  10. San Diego, Calif. 

This is good news for job seekers, according to LinkedIn.
