Woman claims serial burglar targeting her home

SAN DIEGO -- A Kensington woman says a thief has been targeting her home repeatedly over the past several years.

Amy Del Nagro Misko claims the same person has broken into her home three times in two years. She says they've taken laptops, iPads and jewelry. In the latest incident, the thief also stole her late husband's wedding band.

“I’m never going to get that back," she said. "And that’s engraved. You know, and that's, it's just heartbreaking. I don't like to think about it."

Del Nagro Misko says the thief used a crowbar to pry open a window. She thinks the culprit is a homeless man she has seen lurking around her neighborhood. She wants everyone to be aware and be ready to protect themselves.

"I got a handgun. And I'm going to be armed and dangerous. I'm not going to be fooling around."

Del Nagro Misko says she's lost about $30,000 worth of her belongings since the burglaries began.
