It's a bird, it's a plane? No, it's Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump

Look, up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane? No, it’s a flying Donald Trump pooping money and Hillary Clinton on a broomstick.

This summer, San Diegans may have spotted three-dimensional likenesses of the two presidential candidates soaring through the skies over local beaches.

The whimsical radio-controlled flying machines are the brainchild of Otto Dieffenbach III, and the aerial presidential nominees are just the latest sky-skimming creations from the 63-year-old Clairemont resident.

Dieffenbach, a licensed pilot, is the founder of Flyguy Promotions, a 5-year-old company that makes three-dimensional flying people and products for companies that include Google, the BBC and Greenpeace.

The retired Air Force test flight engineer designs, builds and paints the models for clients, as well as for himself.

Flying Hillary and Donald Moneybags fall into the latter category. Dieffenbach created them just for fun because he enjoys coming up with topical sculptures, like the half-size Tardis phone box from “Dr. Who” and the full-size R2D2 droid from “Star Wars” that he has flown at Comic-Con in recent years.
