SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Neighbors in one Mira Mesa neighborhood worry that someone could be seriously hurt.
Residents on Marbury Avenue said cars fly through the area all day - through a neighborhood filled with kids and elderly citizens.
One of those times, a hit-and-run driver was caught on camera barreling into a parked car. The parked car destroyed during the recent crash belonged to Rachel Banh’s boyfriend.
“We’re sitting on my couch, by boyfriend literally walks in, and three minutes later we hear a loud screech and then we hear a crash happen,” Banh said. “You know, I’m just really thankful he wasn’t in there, counting my blessings that he wasn’t in there.”
*Tonight neighbors tell 10News the city can do something to help and they want to know when they're going to modify the street.
