SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A Coast Guard helicopter made an unexpected landing in the Silver Strand area Tuesday.
The helicopter was on a training flight with an experienced pilot when a warning light for suspected transmission failure came on.
The pilot made a precautionary landing in a parking lot at Fiddler's Cove.
No one was injured and there was no damage related to the emergency.
