A Point Loma grandmother says she's fed up and scared - after she's targeted for the second time by vandals.
86-year-old Wynette Traphagen says the vandals threw red paint all over her home the week after Halloween. Her home on Tarento drive, now marked with red splatters across the garage and front door.
The first time, she thought it was a one-time prank. But when she got hit again, and both times the vandal walked up and rang the doorbell before they ran off.
Traghagen says no other neighbors have been hit and she wonders if it's a case of mistaken identity.
"We pay our bills on time. We don't have enemies," she said. "We've never had a dispute with anybody."
That's why she's confused about why the vandal once wrote, "deadbeats live here" on her home.
Police say their only theory, is that it's an angry acquaintance of one of Traphagen's relatives. Traghagen says - leave her a note, let her know what she's done wrong to deserve this treatment in her own home.
