The second sweet addition, Cinnabon Cinnamon Swirl cheesecake, features layers of Cinnabon cinnamon cheesecake, vanilla crunch cake with cinnamon chips, and Cinnabon cream cheese frosting, topped with caramel.

Others offering deals on National Cheesecake Day:

Denny’s: Get 20 percent off their New York Style Cheesecake if you're a Denny's Rewards member. You can click here to sign up.

Olive Garden: Sign up for the restaurant's eClub and get a free dessert (when you order two entrees).

Some cheesecake facts you may not know:

According to Cheesecake.com, the first "cheese cake" may have been created over 4,000 years ago by the Greeks.

It was thought to be a good source of energy and evidence shows "cheese cake" was served to Greek athletes during the first Olympic games in 776 B.C.

New York-style cheesecake was invented in the late 1800s by a man who was invited to a dinner party, "where the hostess served a cheese pie. Allegedly, he was so intrigued by this dish that he experimented with the recipe until he came up with the beloved NY Style cheesecake."
