A Hawaiian Airlines flight on its way to Hawaii from Las Vegas was diverted to Los Angeles after a passenger became a problem.

It happened on Wednesday morning. According to the FAA, the flight left McCarran International Airport at 8:44 a.m. It landed in Los Angeles at 10:23 a.m.

Police say a 66-year-old man complained he was cold and asked for a blanket. When he was told that he would be charged for the blanket, he said he wanted corporate's phone number. After he was given the number, he said he'd like to "take someone behind the woodshed."

Apparently this was enough to cause concern to the crew. They decided to land the plane in Los Angeles. The man was escorted off the plane. However, he was not arrested and was sent on his way on a different airline. The flight to Hawaii also continued its journey.
