The new cocaine hydrochloride nasal spray is called Numbrino.
It's approved for use as a local anesthetic and it's not the first of its kind.
In 2017, the FDA approved a cocaine spray called Goprelto. Like Nombrino, it's also intended for use as a painkiller during surgeries and procedures in the nasal cavities.
