LAKESIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - Lakeside Fire crews had an unusual call Monday - rescuing a dog that got stuck under a house while chasing his ball.
The 3-year-old Golden Retriever wedged his head in between two cinder blocks under the home, according to Chief Bernie Molloy.
Firefighters freed him with a sledge hammer and a Halligan bar, which works like a pry bar.
The crew's efforts worked and the dog was able to wiggle himself free. Firefighters said the dog immediately returned to playing with his ball while they covered the openings in the wall.
