ANAHEIM, Calif. - Disneyland is offering two new attractions for Halloween this year, including a parade at the Anaheim theme park, it was announced Tuesday.
The "Frightfully Fun Parade" will debut as part of Mickey's Halloween Party and run for 17 nights leading up to the spooky holiday. It will feature popular Disney villains as well as the usual ghosts, and the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow will drop in at the party for the first time.
The other attraction is part of the "final check-out" date for the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, which Disney announced will close Jan. 2. Guests can look forward to being plunged into "complete darkness" and "free falling" in a haunted elevator shaft.
At the Twilight Zone-themed attraction, park-goers will also enjoy live music, specialty food and be able to buy commemorative merchandise.
