SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A 25-year-old pharmacy technician from San Diego County has died of the coronavirus, prompting doctors to remind the community that the virus is dangerous to everyone.

Doctors are not disclosing the identity of the man.

They say he was in self-quarantine at La Quinta residence. He was found dead on March 25. Riverside County health officials say the man was healthy and did not have any underlying or pre-existing health conditions.

“We believe he was exposed to Covid-19 when he outside Riverside County,” said Brooke Federico, a riverside county public information officer.

The cause of the infection is still to be determined by doctors.

“What we need to understand is that novel coronavirus does not only impact our potentially, severely sickened, and take the lives of those who are elderly,” Federico said.
