SAN DIEGO - A bankruptcy protection filing by San Diego-based Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. could spell the end for dozens of Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes restaurants across the country.
Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. owns and operates more than 120 Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes locations, but about 20 to 30 of them are expected to close.
It remains unclear if any of the 12 San Diego County locations will close.
