Family and friends of Monica and Veronica Moreno gathered to remember them Wednesday night.
The sisters were killed in a Thanksgiving crash. They got out and hugged each other after their pickup spun out of control. Moments later, another car hit and killed them.

Dozens gathered at Veteran's Park in Chula Vista, holding candles, flowers, and balloons in their honor.
"It makes me feel good that the community comes together," Kyle Dickey, Veronica's boyfriend, said. "It means that they were appreciated, and they were loved. The community comes together, I don't know….It's just hard because I was the last one to see them alive," he said through tears.

The sisters will be buried Thursday morning.
