SAN DIEGO – The opening day schedule for the 47th annual Comic-Con International at the San Diego Convention Center was released Thursday.
The annual trade show runs from July 21-24. One of the Thursday, July 21 highlights includes a panel with legendary filmmaker Oliver Stone regarding his new movie Snowden. Stone is making his Comic-Con debut. Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who plays Edward Snowden, will also be on hand with Stone. Read the full schedule here.
Comic-Con, the largest annual trade show in San Diego, brings 130,000 attendees to downtown and visitors from around the world. In 2014, it generated an estimated $177.8 million for the local economy.
