Church Members Frustrated by Ongoing City Construction

Posted

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Parishioners at the Holy Family church and school in Linda Vista are frustrated that a city construction project they say has gone on way too long and is creating a hazardous mess on their property.

There are several holes in the parking lot and near the front office created after a city sub-contractor began a project more than two years ago to replace the storm drain.

Dorothy Perez, who contacted 10News, said the city told her the project had been delayed because there were issues with the soil and the crews had to redo some of the work.

The city told 10News the contractor has been instructed to complete the project as soon as possible but an exact date couldn't be given at this time.
