ESCONDIDO, Calif. (KGTV) -- Rescue crew rushed to the scene of a truck into a house Friday night, at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Ash Street.
The Sky 10 chopper was over head around 6:30 p.m. Firefighters at the scene told 10News a child inside the home was hurt and had to be taken to the hospital. The family told 10News the child is doing okay.
The driver was also taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The home was boarded up Friday night following the crash.
Firefighters say the truck was driving southbound on Ash Street when a vehicle may have pulled out in front, causing the driver to swerve and crash.
