A vehicle flew off Interstate 5 in Carlsbad Wednesday night and landed in the Agua Hedionda lagoon, sending two people to a hospital, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 7:10 p.m. on the northbound side of the freeway, south of Tamarack Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two people were taken from the scene to a hospital, but their conditions were not immediately available, according to the North County Dispatch Joint Powers Authority.
