SAN DIEGO - A woman will likely face drunken driving charges after she was found passed out behind the wheel of her car on a local freeway.
The 10News Breaking News Tracker spotted the car at a standstill on state Route 94 near College Ave. early Wednesday morning.
A California Highway Patrol officer tried to wake up the passed out woman by hitting the driver's side window and shining a flashlight directly into her eyes. However, as she began to wake up, she slowly started to drive away.
The officer continued to bang the window as the car rolled away, and the driver eventually pulled over to the side of the road and stopped the car.
The woman was removed from the vehicle and arrested.
No injuries were reported and traffic was not affected by the incident.
