LAKESIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - Firefighters from Cal Fire knocked down a fire in East San Diego County Tuesday.
Crews contained the fire to two acres near Highway 67 and Slaughterhouse Canyon Rd.
100 firefighters worked in temperatures above 90 degrees.
The fire burned close to an office building owned by Hansen Aggregates.
Cal Fire investigators are looking into the cause of the fire. If they determined negligence was involved, Hansen could be financially liable for firefighting costs, said Cal Fire.
